Quick Write

There is no freedom in conditioning. As people grow up they are influenced by their experiences in life that is what makes someone to themselves. if all his or her actions are limited and conditionedthey grow up to be different without freedom. In Aldous Huxley’s “Brave New World", scientists creates a new class system made up of clones being called by Alpha, Byta, Delta, Gamma, and Epsilons. Each level of clones does different jobs. For examples, the Epsilons do simple jobs such as cleaning garbage. This way, they grow up only knowing their duty in the society; they do not have any freedom. As a result, the Epsilons belong to the lowest class in the society. On page 24, the Byta states: “I don’t want to play with Delta children, and Epsilons are still worse. They are too stupid…I am so glad I’m a Byta.” The Byta are proud of their class and start to look down to the other classes. Instead of calling names, the entire class and every individual have the same name. The society is filled with cold-blooded clones acting like robots. As you can see, there is no freedom in the created utopian society of Brave New World

Student Teacher Project

A Silhouette, teasing hints of ravishing beauty, imprinted in my mind

A willowy figure, delicate treasure, swaying from side to side

I lie back, reminiscing memories of your presence

An exotic goddess, laying blessing upon my humble existence

Your flawless face, gazing down from the walls

My desire, uncontrollable. My self-control, about to crumble

Forbidden fruit - so close, yet so far away

Please, smile, smile again

Losing myself, without you, without me

Vincent Van Gogh's Painting

The ground opens up to swallow me
Deep, rocking ravages of despair.
Lost in nightmares, twisted memories.
Torments of past happiness, and the hour of loss.
The pain racks my soul,
Guilt, self-disgust overwhelm me completely,
Pulling me under once again, never to surface.

The Bull Calf Presentation

Theme: The theme of this poem is that Humans are condescending towards other living creatures. Since we are at the top of the food chain and has the power to kill animals, we do so sometimes for money but sometimes for no reason at all.

Quotes: "of his frightened look, growing smaller and smaller"

This quote shows that animals are helpless in the face of humans. They can not defend themselves and are subject to our slaughters.

"We dug a deep pit and threw the dead calf into it"

This quote shows how heartless humans can be. The indifference tone shows that they cared little for the calf that they just killed - for the living sould that they just destroyed.

"Without movement, perfectly still in the cool pit"

This quote shows that just like that, a living creature was killed by humans, having no power to defend itself. Now it's nothing more than a dead body.

What is LoVE

Love is like a taxi.
The one you wait for never comes.

Love is like chewing gum.
It eventually becomes a habit.

Love is like comparing two watches.
You will never know which is more accurate.

Love is like a rubber band pulled by two people.
The injured is the one who was reluctant to let go.

Love is like a cup of coffee.
The smell of incense is always better than to drink.

Love is like eating.
You eat a lot when you are hungry, but you vomit when you are full.

Love is like drinking tea.
The actual tea gets poured away, but you never admit to drinking water. Instead, we brag about how valuable the tea was.

Love is like the piano.
The most elegant of the content is placed in the most elegant people's home, but the real artists could not afford to play.

Love is like a crystal.
Looks beautiful but easy to break.

Love is like a dream.
There is always a day that you have to wake up.

A Plea for the Physical

I would say that I am a more sedentary person than physical in life. The key to the 21st century is to be efficient. Time is precious, there is no need of wasting time and energy when one could video chat someone instead of walking to his house. Using nowadays technologies will conserve a lot of time and energy. As a student, my main duty is to be productive and use every second of time when I can. Outside of school, my life is filled with tutor and lesson. It is impossible to run to a classroom that is twenty kilometers away from my house. Due to this, there is no time for me to waste.
It is true that being physical in life if beneficial for health; however, i still prefer to be more sedentary rather than physical.
